Conflict Health Questionnaire

Why you should participate in the Conflict Health Questionnaire

Everyone experiences interpersonal conflict and most of us want to resolve it. To help us achieve better results, I am delighted to announce our participation in a revolutionary program for the banking industry, the Glenn Index of Conflict Health® program.

It begins with an online survey, the Conflict Health Questionnaire, shedding light on how the types of conflict affects people within our organisation - where it occurs, with whom, and why. Finding these answers means we can more effectively resolve conflict to create better working conditions for everyone.

Conflict can be thought of as a "struggle of wills or ideas". You might experience conflict as stress or tension, as frustration about something, or simply not getting your own way. Or you might actually enjoy conflict - believe it or not, some people do! However you experience conflict, the purpose of the Conflict Health Questionnaire is to ask for your thoughts and feelings about what happened to you at work over the past week.

The questionnaire takes about 7 minutes to complete. Please answer the questions as honestly as you can, focusing only on what happened to you during the past week.

All answers are confidential. No one from our organisation, ABC Bank, will ever see your answers. For more information, see the Conflict Health Questionnaire Privacy Policy.

Your answers go to an independent consultancy, Conflict Health, the creators of the Glenn Index of Conflict Health® program for collation, analysis and interpretation. Their role is to build a snapshot of both the nature and degree of residual conflict inside our organisation over the past week.

At the same time they survey our competitors in the banking industry to discover what's happening inside their organisations and then compare the findings on a weekly basis.

The program enables us to find work conflict "hot spots" and resolve issues. And while it is your choice whether to undertake the survey, the Glenn Index of Conflict Health® program has my full support. I encourage you to participate and thus create a better working environment for every one of us here at ABC Bank.
